Bar/Bat Mitzvahs

This is where my work as a teacher and my inner 13-year-old really shine. I love photographing bar and bat mitzvahs—equal parts sacred and silly, heartfelt and high-energy. I bring the same enthusiasm to portraits with the guest of honor as I do to the hora circle or the quiet moments at the bimah. My background with kids, my extroverted personality, and my camera are all in sync for this kind of celebration. I’m here for the traditions, the glitter, the dance floor, and everything in between.
